Wind, Water and a Win - 2026 Sailing is Here!!!
After hibernation and a few weeks of frenzied boat work, the SeaRenity was launched back to her home in the water under blue skies.
Sailing evenings find us in the harbor eyeing up the wind conditions, pull starting the outboard and hoisting the sails.
While I grew up racing sailboats, I’ve been taking a more holistic approach focus on fun and gratitude being out there enjoying the evening and sharing the sport with friends and family.
While encouraging youth sailors is all well and good, there is still some competitiveness. It was a special feeling to secure the SeaRenity’s first victory on the race course.
With my J&J lightweight crew, we eked out an early lead and did some fantastic spinnaker work, channeling everything we’ve learned from Steve over the years to secure a massive victory for the team. After hearing that sweet sweet horn, victory celebrations were performed, smiles were big and our fans were in stunned disbelief! What a start to the year!!!
