Ski Getaway
A March ski getaway in a quaint Quebec Ski hill. Definitely worth a visit.
I have historically gone out of my way to avoid supporting the Quebec economy. On my trip to the East Coast, I famously drove straight through the Belle Province without spending a penny on food or gas. However, it's been many years and I swallowed my pride by returning to Quebec for a week of skiing.
I booked a quintessential Quebecois ski chalet, dog friendly of course. Over the week we enjoyed rain, wind so cold it gave us ice cream headaches, blue skies and several days of fresh snow. It was a boys trip with much enthusiasm about the skiing, the new challenges, wipeouts, stories and the bodily noises.
If you are looking for a true ski getaway without crowds, Tremblant taxes and long lift lines consider Mt. Ste Marie for your next family holiday.
