Hiking Fare

A couple of simple and cheap dehydrated options for the trail.

Simple Couscous

Ingredients:

1 cup couscous

1 tsp curry powder

1 cube vegetable bouillon

1/4 cup dehydrated red and green peppers

4-5 diced sundried tomatoes

1/4 cup pistachios

1 ½ cups water

Directions:

I get the sundried tomatoes packed in oil and pat them dry before slicing and dehydrating them fully.

About as simple as it gets, boil your water and pour over the couscous, let sit for 10 minutes and enjoy.
