Politicians can be so frustrating and I try not to get emotionally involved but....this week the Carbon Tax went away. I'm blissfully unaware when the carbon tax first appeared on the scene. I'm even less certain what it was trying to accomplish.

Have us pay tax on carbon but then send us money to offset it? Sound like a politician's idea. I am sure there will be ripples throughout the supply chain for foods and I may see some changes to my utilities but he real winner here are drivers. I lined up for some of the cheapest gas in recent memory. Overnight prices dropped by 17cents per liter.
